ASH wraps up 3-4A crown in convincing fashion

By: Will Tubbs • For The Town Talk • DRY PRONG -- After watching the Leesville Wampus Cats win the last two District 3-4A crowns, the Alexandria Senior High Trojans officially staked their claim to the 2009 crown Thursday night with a 52-6 win over the Grant Cougars. The Trojans, who finished the season 9-1 overall and 4-0 ion district play, were up 21-0 before the end of the first quarter and 35-0 by the half.
