10 Central Louisiana soccer players earn all-state honors

By Warren Hayes • From The Town Talk • Ten Central Louisiana athletes were named all-state in soccer, highlighted by the first-team selections of Alexandria Senior High's Jeremy Perkins, Natchitoches Central's senior Yanci Johnson and Holy Savior Menard High's Kyle Mckay. All-state teams in divisions I, II and III were selected by the Louisiana High School Soccer Coaches Association.

The Palace Gets a New Entrance Gate

From www.ashbaseball.com - ASH Baseball has yet another capital improvement to Trojan Field making it not only the finest high school baseball field in the Central Louisiana area but contending with being one of the best facilities in the state. Thanks to Mr. Ray Morrow of Stalnaker Construction in Pineville, a new black wrought iron entry gate with "ASH" and a Trojan head with "Trojan Baseball" has been built. Mr. Morrow has been a staunch supporter of ASH Baseball as his company built the metal fencing on the outfield walls and the left field and right field chain link fencing.
